A Commentary On “Robert M. Costrell: Oh, To Be a Teacher in Wisconsin”

I have a number of would be teachers as employees. They would LOVE to have a job as a teacher. They cannot get a job in my home state of Michigan, because we are not hiring. We are laying off teachers as the remaining teachers gobble up all the tax revenue with their high pay and benefits.
I would love advice to be a teacher at some point in my life. Pay would not be an issue. But if you have to much education you cannot get hired because your starting salary will be to high. Notice that teachers do not get their masters until after they are hired.
